Formwork and concrete crews for civil structures
JF West Coast supplies formwork carpenters, concrete crews and labourers to civil contractors building bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other structures across Metro Vancouver. We staff each stage of the structure, from forming to the pour to stripping.
Structures built to civil tolerances
Civil structures carry loads for decades and get built to tight tolerances. The forming has to be right, the rebar has to be inspected and the pour has to go in without cold joints. Every stage needs people who know what they are doing.
We supply formwork carpenters, concrete placers and finishers, and labourers for bridge decks, abutments, retaining walls, culverts and chambers. They work to your drawings, your engineer and your inspection schedule.

How a crew request works
One call or one form. Here is what happens after you send it.
- Step 01
Send the request
Trade, headcount, site address, start date and how long you need them. A call or the online form both work.
- Step 02
We match the crew
We pick workers who have done that work before and hold the tickets your site requires, then confirm names with you.
- Step 03
Crew shows up ready
Workers arrive on time with PPE, check in with your super and start on your scope.
- Step 04
Adjust as you go
Add hands for a pour, drop down when a phase ends or swap a worker. One call to the office handles it.
Bridges and structures FAQ
Something not covered here? Call the office at (604) 375-0068.
Do you supply formwork carpenters for civil work?
Yes. Our formwork carpenters build and set forms for walls, abutments, decks and chambers. Tell us the forming system you use and we will match carpenters who know it.
How fast can you get workers to my site?
Call or send the request form with the trade, headcount, site address and start date. We confirm what we can cover the same day and tell you plainly if we cannot fill it. Short-notice requests are common in this work and we treat them that way.
Do your workers carry their own tickets and PPE?
Tell us the tickets your site requires, such as fall protection or WHMIS, and we match workers who hold them. Every worker shows up with standard PPE: hard hat, safety boots, hi-vis and gloves. Site-specific gear gets confirmed when we book the crew.
Can I book a crew for one day or for the whole project?
Both. Some contractors call us to cover a single pour or a missed delivery. Others keep the same crew with us for months. Book the length you need and adjust the headcount as the schedule changes.
Tell us the trade, the headcount and the start date
We confirm what we can cover the same day. If we cannot fill it, we say so.
