Road construction and rehabilitation crews

JF West Coast supplies crews to civil contractors building and rebuilding roads across Metro Vancouver. We staff road base, curb and gutter, sidewalks and restoration with labourers, operators and concrete finishers who are used to working next to live traffic.

Crews who work beside live traffic every day

Road work runs on tight windows. Lane closures are booked, inspections are scheduled and every day a road stays torn up costs the contractor and frustrates the public. You need full crews from the first day of the closure.

We supply labourers, operators and concrete crews for new roads, widening and rehabilitation. They prepare subgrade and base, form and finish curbs and sidewalks, set up for paving and restore boulevards when the work is done. They work under your traffic management plan and your supervision.

How a crew request works

One call or one form. Here is what happens after you send it.

  1. Step 01

    Send the request

Trade, headcount, site address, start date and how long you need them. A call or the online form both work.

  2. Step 02

    We match the crew

We pick workers who have done that work before and hold the tickets your site requires, then confirm names with you.

  3. Step 03

    Crew shows up ready

Workers arrive on time with PPE, check in with your super and start on your scope.

  4. Step 04

    Adjust as you go

Add hands for a pour, drop down when a phase ends or swap a worker. One call to the office handles it.

Roads FAQ

Something not covered here? Call the office at (604) 375-0068.

Can you supply full road crews for a lane closure window?

Yes. Send us the closure dates, hours and crew makeup and we will confirm coverage before the closure starts, so you do not lose booked days.

Do you supply concrete crews for curb and sidewalk?

Yes. Our concrete finishers form and finish curb, gutter, sidewalks and letdowns on municipal and private road projects.

How fast can you get workers to my site?

Call or send the request form with the trade, headcount, site address and start date. We confirm what we can cover the same day and tell you plainly if we cannot fill it. Short-notice requests are common in this work and we treat them that way.

Can I book a crew for one day or for the whole project?

Both. Some contractors call us to cover a single pour or a missed delivery. Others keep the same crew with us for months. Book the length you need and adjust the headcount as the schedule changes.

Tell us the trade, the headcount and the start date

We confirm what we can cover the same day. If we cannot fill it, we say so.
