Certified first aid attendants for construction sites

JF West Coast places certified first aid attendants on construction and civil sites across Metro Vancouver. Our attendants cover the first aid requirements set by WorkSafeBC for your crew size and hazard rating, so you never have to pull a tradesperson off the tools to fill the role.

A dedicated attendant, not a worker doing two jobs

Every BC worksite needs first aid coverage that matches the number of workers, the hazard rating and the travel time to hospital. On a busy site that often means a dedicated attendant with a first aid room, and it means coverage every hour the site is open.

We supply attendants who hold the certification level your site needs. They run the first aid room, keep treatment records, help with daily safety routines and respond when something happens. When your attendant is away, we send coverage so the site stays compliant.

How a crew request works

One call or one form. Here is what happens after you send it.

  1. Step 01

    Send the request

Trade, headcount, site address, start date and how long you need them. A call or the online form both work.

  2. Step 02

    We match the crew

We pick workers who have done that work before and hold the tickets your site requires, then confirm names with you.

  3. Step 03

    Crew shows up ready

Workers arrive on time with PPE, check in with your super and start on your scope.

  4. Step 04

    Adjust as you go

Add hands for a pour, drop down when a phase ends or swap a worker. One call to the office handles it.

What first aid level does my construction site need?

WorkSafeBC sets the requirement based on the number of workers per shift, the hazard rating of the work and how far the site is from hospital. Share those details and we will help you work out the level and send an attendant who holds it.

Have the OFA levels changed?

Yes. In late 2024 WorkSafeBC replaced the OFA Level 1, 2 and 3 names with Basic, Intermediate and Advanced First Aid. Many people still use the old names and we know both.

Can you cover my attendant for one day?

Yes. Relief coverage for sick days and vacations is one of the most common requests we get. Call as early as you can and we will confirm cover.

Can I book a crew for one day or for the whole project?

Both. Some contractors call us to cover a single pour or a missed delivery. Others keep the same crew with us for months. Book the length you need and adjust the headcount as the schedule changes.

Tell us the trade, the headcount and the start date

We confirm what we can cover the same day. If we cannot fill it, we say so.
