A steady workforce for builders with steady work

JF West Coast partners with developers, general contractors and trade contractors who need crews on a regular basis. Instead of one request at a time, you get consistent workers, a foreman who knows your sites and one point of contact for every trade.

Why builders partner with us

Most contractors call a labour supplier when something goes wrong: a crew short, a pour coming up, a deadline slipping. That works, but every call starts from zero. New faces, new orientation, the same questions about your site.

A partnership turns that around. We learn your projects and your people once, keep the same crews coming back and plan headcount with you before each phase. When something does go wrong, the fix is one call to people who already know the job.

What a partnership includes

  • Crews that stay

The same workers return to your sites, so you are not re-orienting new people every week.

  • A foreman who knows your sites

One of our foremen keeps track of your projects, your supers and how you like to work.

  • One point of contact

Our office handles your requests, changes and paperwork, so your team makes one call.

  • Headcount planned by phase

We look ahead at your schedule with you and line up crews before each phase starts.

  • Top-ups when the plan changes

Extra hands for a big pour, a closure window or a late delivery, booked through the same contact.

  • First aid covered

Certified first aid attendants added to your sites when your crew size or hazard rating calls for one.

How a partnership starts

Four steps, usually over a couple of weeks, from the first call to crews on your site.

  1. Step 01

    Intro call

Tell us about your company, your projects and the trades you hire most often.

  2. Step 02

    Site walk and plan

We visit a current site, meet your supers and map out headcount by phase.

  3. Step 03

    Crews on site

We place workers who fit the work and confirm names with you before day one.

  4. Step 04

    Regular check-ins

Our foreman and office check in through the project and adjust crews as the schedule moves.

Partnership FAQ

What is a workforce partnership?

An ongoing arrangement where JF West Coast supplies trades and labour across your projects, not one request at a time. You get consistent crews, one point of contact and headcount planned ahead with you.

Who is a partnership for?

Developers, general contractors and trade contractors with steady work in Metro Vancouver, such as multi-phase builds, several sites at once, or long civil programs.

Can I still book one-off crews?

Yes. Anyone can request workers for a single day or job through the request form or by calling the office. A partnership suits companies that need crews on a regular basis.

Which trades are included?

Any trade we supply: carpenters, operators, skilled labour, concrete crews, renovation crews, painters, civil crews and first aid attendants.
