Equipment operators for construction and civil sites
JF West Coast supplies equipment operators to construction and civil contractors across Metro Vancouver. We cover excavators, loaders, skid steers, telehandlers and compaction equipment, operating your machines on your site, booked by the day, week or full project.
A seat filled when the machine is ready and the operator is not
Equipment is expensive to leave parked. When an operator calls in sick, moves to another job or the schedule shifts, the machine sits and the crew around it slows down. We fill that seat so the work keeps going.
Our operators run your equipment on excavation, site servicing, road work and building sites. Let us know the machine, the size and the work and we match an operator who has run it before. If you need a labourer to work with them, we can send both.

How a crew request works
One call or one form. Here is what happens after you send it.
- Step 01
Send the request
Trade, headcount, site address, start date and how long you need them. A call or the online form both work.
- Step 02
We match the crew
We pick workers who have done that work before and hold the tickets your site requires, then confirm names with you.
- Step 03
Crew shows up ready
Workers arrive on time with PPE, check in with your super and start on your scope.
- Step 04
Adjust as you go
Add hands for a pour, drop down when a phase ends or swap a worker. One call to the office handles it.
Operators FAQ
Something not covered here? Call the office at (604) 375-0068.
Do your operators bring their own equipment?
No. We supply the operator and you supply the machine. That keeps your equipment fleet and rental agreements as they are and lets us focus on the people.
Which machines can your operators run?
Excavators of most sizes, wheel loaders, skid steers, telehandlers and compaction equipment. Tell us the make and size when you book so we can match someone who has run that machine.
How fast can you get workers to my site?
Call or send the request form with the trade, headcount, site address and start date. We confirm what we can cover the same day and tell you plainly if we cannot fill it. Short-notice requests are common in this work and we treat them that way.
Can I book a crew for one day or for the whole project?
Both. Some contractors call us to cover a single pour or a missed delivery. Others keep the same crew with us for months. Book the length you need and adjust the headcount as the schedule changes.
Tell us the trade, the headcount and the start date
We confirm what we can cover the same day. If we cannot fill it, we say so.
